Re-Ment: High School Memories And Bumble's New Outfit

This is a Re-Ment set that I had been thinking about and looking at for a while but one day I couldn't help but order it. I am so glad I did.

There are so many interesting pieces and all my dolls can take something away from this set. Which is sometimes hard to do.

I really loved the box, it was so cute and colorful!
So many boxes!
Although the scale of some of the items is weird and they don't all fit. All of the items I was really excited about work perfectly. The desk and the little locker fit my Petite Blythe doll perfectly, but when paired with the little bag, it looks ridiculous.

I am just glad that I will be able to use most of the items and pieces. I even might cut out the little paper props on the cards.

Here are a few pictures of some of the little pieces. Of course Clover snatched the little microscope and Saiko took the cellphone and the other more modern accessories.

Clover now has almost everything she might need to research potion ingredients.

"Can I help you?"

"Let's take a picture together, Luc!"
As for Bumble's new Azone brand outfit...I love it! It looks so perfect on her and she looks so adorable.

I have completely fallen in love with Bumble. I love her super cute little body and now I adore her outfit, too.

Her shoes are also incredible. They fit her perfectly, but they look a little bit big. Because of this I accidentally created a little story for her shoes.

"Bumble always get in trouble for wearing her shoes like this at school. But the truth is they were her dad's when he was younger. She can't help that they are a little big and the laces are a little too long."

Incoming AmiAmi Order

I am very excited to have my second order from AmiAmi on the way. I was very happy with my previous order and I am glad that I finally decided to order from them.

With this order I bought Bumble a new outfit as well as shoes, since her body is quite smaller than any of the clothes I currently have. She is on the Pure Neemo XS body so most things are too big on her.

The outfit I ordered is the St. Potre Dame Elementary School Girl's Uniform Set, which is just absolutely adorable. Azone clothes have incredible quality so I cannot wait to see this little outfit in person.

I also ordered the little boots that go with the outfit. These will be my first pair of Azone brand shoes and I cannot wait to see them.

The last item I purchased is one that I am very excited for! It is the new Re-Ment High School Memories set. It has been a really long time since I bought any Re-Ment so I am pretty excited.

This set has all kinds of fun little items, which I will be able to split up for Saiko and the other girls. I am most excited for a few little items which will be Saiko's.

I Have Lost My Mind

Well..maybe not really, but it feels like it. Thanks to my new job, I finally have a steady income and can afford to buy doll stuff.

A few weeks ago I bought one of my newest character, Beatrix, who I completely customized. She was previously a Pinkie Cooper doll, which is designed to be a puppy, but now she is a bunny. I am really happy with how she came out. She looks so sweet and innocent.

I also got another new character named Betelgeuse. She is simply a Licca doll with a star painted onto her forehead. Not as much customization but it was pretty difficult to paint that little star.

WennieBJD's Contest

A few days ago I saw that WennieBJD was holding a contest/giveaway for reaching 1,000 YouTube subscribers. The first place prize would be an absolutely adorable B&G Hera ball-jointed doll. In order to win the doll you would have to create a story for her, and whichever story Wennie likes best will be the winner.

As soon as I saw the doll I fell in love and quickly got to work creating a character for her. It took me a few days but when I was finally happy with the character I uploaded my entry,

The character I created is Gelsey. I am absolutely in love with this girl and she is so interesting to me. Here is what I know about her so far.

Gelsey, Princess of the Netherlands

My name is Gelsey, however most people call me Posy, which is the nickname my father gave me when I was young. He told me that I would always be his sweet and delicate little flower. I suppose he was right about my stature, although he had no idea who his little Posy really was.

As a family tradition, each child is given a special gemstone. They are dressed in garments which match this color until they are old enough to be able to make a decision on their attire. My gemstone is the blood red ruby. I still enjoy being dressed in this dark and deadly color as it looks lovely with my pale skin and dark brown hair.

Although my expression naturally resembles that of a lost and frightened little dear, I am not nearly as weak and pathetic as I seem. I can get almost everyone in the castle to do as please, all it takes is a little persuasion and maybe a few threats or even blackmail.

My small size and quiet footsteps aid me greatly in sneaking around the castle and listening in on very private matters. I once saved my father's life when I overheard one of the guests conspiring to kill him one evening. It is moments like these that have rocketed me to the position of the most caring, heroic, and kindhearted princess in our half of the world. Little do they know.

Since my kingdom is at war with vampires of France, a marriage has been arranged between Prince Marius and myself. Our wedding is meant to bring peace between the vampires and humans of our regions.

At first I was terrified when I learned the news that I would be marrying a vampire, however after regaining my composure I realized that I could use it to my advantage. If I were to become immortal, I could kill off my future husband and his family one by one, until I was the only option left to rule the kingdom. My mind began to race with so many wonderful ideas and I could not wait to be married.

How To Make A Babushka/Headscarf For Your Doll

Materials Needed:

  • Your Doll
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Ribbon
  • Fabric
  • Fabric Scissors

First, you will need to cut out a medium sized square out of the fabric. The fabric will longer be needed so you can put it to the side.

Next, you will fold one corner of the square over to the corner directly across from it. If the edges don't line up perfectly; you can either cut them off now or wait until after the next step.

Run a small line of glue along the edges inside of the fabric to keep them together. An alternative would be to stitch a line along the edges.

Next, glue, or stitch, the ribbon to the straight edge on the fabric. I like to dab very little bits of glue along the edge in the green circles. By doing this the babushka will be able to bend better than a straight line of glue would allow.

*Make sure that the ribbon is extra long, so that you can trim it later.*

Next, you will want to tie the ribbon into a little bow tightly under your doll's chin. Before, cutting the leftover pieces of ribbon; dab a tiny dot of hot glue into the know of the bow. This will keep it from coming lose. After this, feel free to cut off the leftovers.

If the back of the scarf sticks out awkwardly, then you can try folding it down along your doll's head and dab very tiny amounts of hot glue inside the creases. This will help to keep it down and look more natural.

I hope that this tutorial helped you and that you enjoyed making them.

Kumabolo Review

Kumabolo is an adorable little fashion doll that is valued at 5,820 yen, which is about $50. Although she is a little pricey after including the shipping, she is definitely an amazing little doll.

My Kumabolo had two versions, one with a "soft" face and the other had a slightly grumpy expression. Originally I wanted the smiley bear, however after some embarrassingly ridiculous events occurred, I had to settle with the grumpy girl.

These girls do not come with clothing or any accessories, which makes finding an outfit for them incredibly difficult! However there are a few items available on the Petworks website that will fit them.

Kumabolo dolls are made out of a softer plastic than Obitsu or Licca-chan dolls. Unfortunately this might cause them to stain easier, as I have already had to clean a few stains off of my girl.

Their bodies are the only negative thing about them. They have horrible articulation and no joints. They can rotate their arms, legs, hips, and turn their heads to the side but that is it.

Apart from the terrible body design, their faces are absolutely adorable! The shape of the eyes are incredibly adorable and the little mouth is super cute, too. The fact that I didn't have to add on the eyes, like I had to with Saiko, was a major bonus.

My Birthday!

Today is my eighteenth birthday! I can't even believe it! But, honestly, I don't feel very different!

Last night I went bowling with my friends and family and it was the best birthday party I have ever had. My mom even got my dad and little sisters to come, which was really awesome!

I was also surprised with the most adorable cake ever!

I had a blast and I will make another post or video about my presents!
