Saiko's Backstory: 

I was born in a town next to the ocean in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. I came to America through a foreign exchange student program. 

When I was born I suffered from an illness which left me blind in my left eye and deaf in my left ear. I never let this hold me back though, I have always worked hard. The only thing that I find difficult because of my ailment is walking in big crowds in the city. It is easy to get lost from my friends or family if they are on my left side. This defect is also a positive thing because whenever I am too shy to talk to someone new I pretend that I am deaf so that I will not have to communicate with them. My mom doesn't like this though, so I don't do it that much.

In elementary school whenever we began learning English I used to be teased by the other children because of my name. It rhymes with the English word psycho, so they would always write my name out like that instead of Saiko. It didn't hurt my feelings that much and that Halloween I dressed up like Hikiko-san to scare all my classmates.

Edmond and Eglantine's Backstory:

Edmond and his twin sister were part of Banon and Mimolette Souris’s first litter, born in a small town in southern France, the family lived above a famous bakery so they always had plenty of yummy food. Since the day they were born Edmond and Eglantine have been inseparable. They sat together on the bus, played together, and even shared a bunk bed. It was clear that they would always be best friends.

After Banon and Mimolette’s first litter graduated from college, Edmond and Eglantine decided to move to a little farm in England. After a few months they decided that the farm life was not for them so they decided to hop into a package set for the United States of America. Which is how they ended up in my home.
